What exactly does the Motion Response™ Formula mean?

Our formula responds to motion. Motion of the body causes sweat to release. The product active ingredient comes in contact with the sweat and this helps to form a “plug” in the sweat duct which prevents/lessens additional sweat from coming to the skin surface in that area.

What is the pH in ARM & HAMMER™ Advance Solid Antiperspirant Deodorants?

ARM & HAMMER™ Advance Solid Antiperspirant Deodorant itself does not have a pH, but the active ingredient when dissolved in water (or sweat) has a pH. The pH of most Antiperspirant active ingredients is about 4. In fact, many Antiperspirant active ingredients (including those in Advance ) contain a buffer, generally glycine (GLY) which ensures that the pH is balanced to reduce potential for irritation.

Will this leave a white residue under my arms?

Our invisible solid product is designed to go on the skin as transparent and clear as possible. However, not all people are the same, so there can be the appearance of a residue although it will be much less than if a regular opaque stick were used.
