Essentials™ Solid Deodorant, Juniper Berry

I miss the original unscented version that smelled like citrus, but this is just as good. Please don't get rid of this scent! Great product!

No garbage ingredients, natural, NOT antiperspirant but deodorant ONLY (which is better, PERFECT) and it smells great, not too perfumey, not like an air freshener but a nice clean scent that holds up all day, and all at a great price. This is the only deodorant for me and I like both scents equally (juniper berry/clean and rosemary lavendar/fresh). Love this stuff. I've used it for years now and plan to use it forever, I just hope A&H does not discontinue to this or change it too much or anything.

I saw a review in YouTube (Alpha M) that mentions A&H essentials being a bargain deodorant that smells clean without smelling “perfumey”. Went to the local CVS and saw 3 scents. At first Juniper Berry made me question whether it was for women, but once I smelled it I could tell that it was unisex. At least in my humble opinion. I’m an above average sized dude and most consider me to be a “man’s man”. I share that to say this scent is perfect for manly men and maybe even for women. A&H may want to consider removing the berry part tbh so there’s no confusion. When I wear the Clean scent it reminds me of lemongrass cologne that my friends from Mongolia introduced me to. It also reminds me of my favorite car air freshener that is lemongrass as well. It smells slightly citrusy with some other scents that give it a light fragrance. That’s what I probably like most. I’m not overwhelmed by an artificial scent all day long and the baking soda keeps me fresh. I kinda feel like I walked out of a high end spa and I smell earthy / herbally / natural. Hands down the best deodorant I’ve tried so far that doesn’t have a lot of the junk ingredients I’m trying to eliminate from my daily products I use. One very happy customer. I've been using Arm & Hammer Essentials deodorant for about 8 years and I will never use another brand. I started using it when I got sick and tired of every brand irritating my armpits. This stuff is perfect... no irritation and the clean scents are perfect and last all day. I love this clean scent but the new orange crisp is my favorite but it is hard to find. Will never use another brand.

This is not my husband’s usual brand but I bought it recently and after couple days he told me it was the best deodorant he ever used and to never buy anything else. That intrigued me, so I decided to try it for myself. It’s just a fresh clean smell so it works for woman or man. Several years back, I wanted to stop using anti-perspiration because of the aluminum but every deodorant I tried left me feeling sticky. I would also end up smelly which almost never happens with anti-perspirant for me. Well, I started using this and I can tell no difference from my anti-perspirant that I was happy with - which is a good thing! Never thought a deodorant would work so well for me. I am thrilled!!

No aluminum, seems mostly a natural product but at a great price, this is the perfect deodorant. I'm glad it comes as a deodorant WITHOUT anti-perspirant because I don't do anti-perspirants ever. It has a great, natural, light scent and holds up for the entire day into the evening. I use both Fresh and Clean scents, I like them both. It isn't as easy to find as some other brands (including other Arm & Hammer brands) but I know a few places that tend to have it. I am always afraid they will discontinue this variety and then I will be stuck going back to my old brand. I have been using this for about 4 years now and love it. I buy them 5 to 10 at a time because I don't want to get stuck not finding it. I don't know how this isn't more popular. I wish you guys would promote this more. Please keep it at the low price point, that is important. Best deodorant I've ever used in my life and I will never switch (unless it is discontinued).
