Spinbrush Toothbrushes

Are the brush heads replaceable?

Replacement heads are available for all Spinbrush™ ProClean™, Pro Whitening™, Pro Sensitive, SONIC and Truly Radiant™ toothbrushes. While the brush head on ProClean™ SONIC is replaceable, the dual-action brush heads for traditional Spinbrush™ ProClean™ or Pro Whitening™ and the Pro Sensitive precision brush heads will not fit on SONIC brushes. Likewise, the ProClean™ SONIC brush head will not fit on other toothbrushes.

Does my Spinbrush™ really spin?

There’s a great reason Spinbrush™ doesn’t rotate all the way around. The head oscillates back and forth because circling in the same direction would cause Spinbrush™ bristles to lean to one side. What’s more, a back-and-forth spinning motion helps extend the life of the bristles and provides a better cleaning.

How do I change the batteries?

To change batteries (for all, except Swirl™, ProClean™ Recharge, ProClean™ SONIC Recharge, and Kids): Hold brush with the brush head pointing downward and the bristles facing to the left. Place thumb on indent and press firmly upward. The battery cap should snap open. Replace with fresh alkaline batteries and insert according to diagram.

How do I clean my Spinbrush™?

Remove the brush head and rinse thoroughly with water after every use. Do not submerge the brush in water, because the brush can be damaged.

How do I use my Spinbrush™?

Dentists recommend brushing your teeth for 2 minutes. Brushing with your Spinbrush™ is simple—brush the same as you would with any other toothbrush.

How do I use the rechargeable base?

Plug the charging unit into an electrical outlet. Place the brush handle in the charging unit. All four lights on the Brushing Quadrant Indicator will light up, signaling that the brush is charging. Charge your brush for approximately 30 hours prior to initial use. Do not use with any other charger. After the initial 30-hour charge, the brush can be used anytime while charging.

How does a Spinbrush™ battery-powered toothbrush work?

Spinbrush™ works with a series of gears and linkages that turn when a powered motor is switched on. This makes the round upper brush head turn back and forth (oscillate) quickly and the lower brush head move up and down (for the dual-action brush heads).

How long will my batteries last?

How long the batteries last in your Spinbrush™ depends on its use. If you brush for 2 minutes twice a day, expect the batteries in your Spinbrush™ to last about 4 to 6 weeks. If water gets into the batteries area, the batteries may stop working sooner.

How long will my sonic rechargeable battery last if I remove the brush from the charger?

After your Sonic brush is fully charged, the battery should last for 5 days after removal from the charging base, assuming brushing 2x per day, 2 minutes for each brushing. Other brushes: It is recommended that the handle be stored on the charging unit to maintain full power and maximize battery life. Once the battery wears down, it is not replaceable.

When do I change the brush head?

Change the brush head every 3 months, or sooner if the brush head is worn or parts are loose. Not doing so can lead to brush-head breakage, generation of small parts, and possible injury.

What makes ARM & HAMMER™ brand toothpastes different?

Unlike regular toothpastes, ARM & HAMMER™ toothpastes are naturally powered by ARM & HAMMER™ dental grade baking soda. Baking soda has been used to promote good oral health for over 165 years. Baking soda provides numerous benefits as an oral health solution including:

• Acid neutralization and balancing pH: Plaque acids cause the pH in your mouth to drop and when the pH in your mouth is too low acids can attack and damage tooth enamel, weakening your teeth. With its high pH, baking soda helps raise the pH in your mouth and neutralize harmful acids more effectively than regular toothpastes and helps not only protect against damage to enamel but also helps restore essential minerals, naturally strengthening teeth.

• Gentle, low abrasive cleaning: Baking soda is an ideal cleaning agent for teeth – in fact baking soda is less abrasive than virtually any other cleaning agent used in most toothpastes. Less abrasion means less tooth wear, which helps keep your teeth healthier, longer.

• Deep cleaning action – ARM & HAMMER™ dental grade baking soda dissolves quickly and can penetrate between teeth and along the gum line – you’ll feel it working for a deep clean. In fact, ARM & HAMMER™ Baking Soda toothpaste was shown in clinical studies to remove more plaque than a non-baking soda toothpaste.

• Whitening power:The gentle but deep cleaning power of baking soda works to naturally remove surface stains, without damaging enamel for a whiter, brighter smile. Try ARM & HAMMER™ Advance White™, ARM & HAMMER™ Complete Care™, ARM & HAMMER™ Sensitive Teeth & Gums, and ARM & HAMMER™ Bright & Strong products for whitening that is less abrasive than several leading whitening toothpastes.
