CLEAN MORE. USE LESS.
As the maker of ARM & HAMMER™ branded products, Church & Dwight has a heritage deeply rooted in caring for the health and well-being of your family—and our environment. We didn’t have to jump on the sustainability bandwagon because we’ve been “going green” for over 100 years.
ARM & HAMMER™ products have always been created with the environment in mind. Our new 4X Ultra Concentrated laundry detergent only adds to the list of sustainability initiatives we’ve taken at Church & Dwight.
Sustainability plans start with safer, cleaner production. Our York, PA plant is the top producing location for ARM & HAMMER™ laundry products and is a certified Silver Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) facility. In 2011, it achieved “zero landfill” status with all process waste being treated, recycled, or used for energy recovery. *
The four times ultra-concentrated liquid and smaller packaging of Ultra Power 4X also makes it an environmentally-friendly laundry choice. The smaller, easy-to-pour bottles use less plastic to produce and since they are half as small as most other bottles delivering the same number of loads, they require less water and less fuel to ship than ARM & HAMMER™ 2X Detergent.
At Church & Dwight, we will always strive to lower our carbon footprint and care for the Earth the way you would care for your family.*Source: http://www.churchdwight.com/pdf/SustainabilityReports/2011SustainabilityReport.pdf
