    1. Thank you for your question. Simply Saline Allergy & Sinus Relief can be used as often as needed, although a good guideline would be three times a day. Simply Saline primarily targets the nasal passages, so it will not directly treat issues of the tongue and throat. When it comes to dryness, the hypertonic saline in Allergy & Sinus Relief is designed to dry out runny noses. The isotonic saline in our original Simply Saline Nasal Relief is actually better for moisturization. Feel better simply! The Simply Saline™ Team

    1. Dear garyvar49: Thank you for your question. If you are asking if you can use Simply Saline immediately after using Afrin, we would generally recommend talking to a doctor about the best way to administer multiple nasal products. It is possible that the use of a saline spray immediately after another product will wash the first one out of the nasal passages, reducing its effectiveness. If you are asking if you can use Simply Saline in an effort to stop using Afrin, or after you have stopped, then the answer is yes. It is important to use Over-The-Counter nasal sprays in accordance with their instructions, and only for short periods of time. Feel better simply! The Simply Saline™ Team

    1. Dear Victoria: Thank you for your question. The original Simply Saline Nasal Relief is safe for ages 5+ years old. However, you may want to consider using our Baby/Children's products as they have tapered nozzles that provide a more gentle mist for little noses. Simply Saline Baby Nasal Relief is our isotonic saline spray that moisturizes and clears stuffy noses. We also have Children's Allergy Relief, a homeopathic product that helps to clear allergens and dries runny noses. Both are safe to use everyday, as often as needed. You can go to the "Where to Buy" section of our website (http://www.armandhammer.com/Products/WhereToBuy.aspx) to find a store near you where these are available. Feel better simply! 1. Dear loveboat: Thank you for your question. Simply Saline can be used as often as desired, but generally three times a day is a good guideline. Oxygen therapy can be very drying on the nasal passages, so make sure you are purchasing a sterile isotonic product like Simply Saline Nasal Relief. Also, be sure to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns. Feel better simply! The Simply Saline™ Team

    1. Dear Michele: Thank you for your question. It looks like your friend is already consulting with his doctor, which is good. These types of issues often require an in-person diagnosis so that the doctor can review his full medical history to determine the best treatment. He may also want to consider talking to an Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) specialist or an Allergist to get a second opinion. Feel better simply! The Simply Saline™ team.

    1. Dear micky0519: Thank you for your question. Simply Saline is drug-free and safe to use with medication. If you are concerned about increasing your sodium levels which can increase your blood pressure, it is important to keep in mind that an isotonic nasal solution (such as Simply Saline Nasal Relief Mist) is designed to mimic the level of dissolved salts inside the body. Therefore, it is unlikely to greatly increase the level of sodium already present in your body due to your nose’s natural secretions. Although the body is capable of absorbing sodium through the nasal lining, there is little direct research on how saline irrigation affects that system. However, a full 4.25 oz can of isotonic saline solution only contains about a sixth of a teaspoon of sodium chloride. Feel better simply! The Simply Saline™ Team

    1. Dear jzoller: Thank you for your question. Your immune system is constantly fighting off viruses and bacteria in the environment around you. Allergies are caused by the body initiating an immune response to an environmental trigger that is normally benign, in your case pollen. The symptoms of your allergies are caused by this inappropriate immune response. That's why one way to minimize allergies is to try and avoid your own particular triggers. Feel better simply!
